Teresformasi is a renovation project of a 1980s terrace house in Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, designed by 6IX Design Office. Positioned near the Bukit Tabur Quartz Ridge, the project reinterprets a common intermediate-lot terrace home through spatial reprogramming and material continuity. Its name combines teres (terrace) and transformasi (transformation), reflecting its focus on updating an existing typology for contemporary Malaysian living.

Tessera House is a dwelling in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that captures nature as a centerpiece. Realized by Fabian Tan Architect, the home is defined as a singular rectangular block with projecting volumes, featuring double volume living spaces and unadorned surfaces. The elements within, outside, and above the house are activated, utilizing all of the space available as per the client’s wishes.

Apple has unveiled its first retail store in Malaysia, a stunning building designed by Foster + Partners. Completed within Kuala Lumpur’s rapidly developing Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Apple The Exchange TRX has opened to become a luminous focal point for the area with its unique layered rooftop. This three-dimensional, stepping roof structure creates a visual and spatial bridge between the mall’s central atrium and a rooftop park. Lush greenery and a communal lawn wrap around the new apple store‘s upper level, lending a transition between nature and the built space.
