Architectural Design & Materiality
-
Massing & Structure: The building's architecture splits into two prominent, clean-lined structural blocks joined by a central glass atrium. The left wing features a bold, cantilevered second tier volume that creates a dramatic architectural statement while providing a sheltered undercroft below.
-
Material Palette: The facade relies heavily on industrial-chic materials, utilizing matte black steel framing, smooth fiber-cement or metal cladding panels, and an accent wall of textured, roughhewn dark volcanic stone running up the core.
-
Glazing & Transparency: Floor to ceiling glass panels span the entire width of each room, revealing meticulously styled luxury interiors, minimalist light fixtures, and giving glimpses of inhabitants moving through the open-plan layout.
Perimeter, Streetscape & Context
-
The Gate & Fencing: A wide, automated main security gate featuring a dark timber or composite slat design runs parallel to the street. It is flanked by heavy, dark stone boundary walls accented with vertically integrated slots and warm, embedded uplighting.
-
The Sidewalk & Greenery: The pavement is clean and modern, integrated with low maintenance manicured shrubs along the wall bases. Lush, mature roadside trees soften the sharp edges of the architecture.
-
Lifestyle Integration: Emphasizing the active, pet-friendly, and wellness centric outdoor culture typical of Desa Park City, the scene depicts a resident jogging along the perimeter sidewalk while another interacts with a dog near the entrance, alongside a modern vehicle parked at the curb.
