Integrated Community Center (ICC)

The building shown is an Integrated Community Center designed for the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), featuring a bold, contemporary industrial aesthetic that emphasizes community engagement and functional versatility.

Architectural Design & Facade

  • Geometric Modernism: The structure is defined by a striking, large-scale asymmetric cantilevered roof. The right wing features a dramatic triangular overhang clad in silver perforated metal, which serves as a massive shield for the entrance while providing a futuristic silhouette.

  • Material Fusion: The design skillfully blends contrasting textures, including raw red brickwork for the main hall volume and grey vertical metal siding for the upper tiers.

  • Vibrant Ground Level: The entrance area is marked by a playful and colorful multi-colored paneled wall, signaling a kid-friendly and welcoming community environment.

  • Branding: The official MBSJ logo is prominently displayed on both the brick facade and the metal overhang, establishing the building as a civic landmark.
